Set up your Real Estate Ledger account and complete onboarding in a few minutes.

1. Choose your account type

Go to the sign-up page and pick the account type that fits how you'll use Real Estate Ledger:

  • Owner — For homeowners and landlords managing properties. Starts with a 30-day free trial on the Individual plan, no credit card required.
  • Builder — For construction professionals documenting new builds. Per-property pricing so you pay based on how many properties you manage.

Tip: Need the app in Spanish? Use the language dropdown in the top-right corner of the sign-up or sign-in page to switch before creating your account.

Select your account type and click Continue.

2. Create your account

Fill in the registration form:

  1. Enter your First name and Last name.
  2. Enter your Email — this becomes your login.
  3. Create a Password — use 8 or more characters with numbers, symbols, and mixed case. A strength bar shows your progress.
  4. Check the box to accept the Terms and Privacy Policy.
  5. Click Continue.

3. Verify your email

A 6-digit code is sent to the email address you provided.

  1. Check your inbox for an email from Real Estate Ledger.
  2. Enter the code in the boxes on screen.
  3. Click Continue.

Tip: If you don't see the email, check your spam folder. You can click Resend code to get a new one.

4. Complete your setup

What comes next depends on which account type you chose.

Owner accounts

  1. Choose a Plan — Pick Individual (1 property), Multi-Property (up to 3), or Commercial (up to 10). The Individual plan includes a 30-day free trial with no credit card required.
  2. Enter your payment details to complete checkout. This step is skipped for the free trial.
  3. Set up your first property — Choose a property type, enter the address, and add details like year built and square footage. You can click Skip at the bottom to do this later from your Dashboard.

Builder accounts

  1. Enter your business details — Company name is required. Industry, company size, business type, and website are optional but help tailor your experience.
  2. Choose Your Plan — Select how many property licenses you need and pick monthly or annual billing.
  3. Enter your payment details to complete checkout.

After checkout, you land on your Dashboard with a getting-started checklist to guide your next steps.

Good to know:

  • Owner accounts start with a 30-day free trial on the Individual plan — no credit card required. Builder accounts do not have a free trial.
  • You can change your plan anytime from Billing in the sidebar.
  • Builder business information can be updated later in Business details in the sidebar.
  • To change your language after signing up, go to Settings > Preferences and select a language from the Language dropdown. The app currently supports English and Spanish.
